I am directed by His Excellency the Governor to authorize your detaining the two Portugese Prisoners, Francises di Asis e Fernandes and Cypriano Antonis Pacheco, subjects of the Macao's Government, who have been taken up on the requisition of the Governor of Macao, charged with robbery; and who will be eventually forwarded to Macao for the purpose of being tried according to their own laws.
